Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in Washington. This opportunity begins on Dec 4, 2025, and features 10-hour day shifts from 10am to 6pm. You will serve as the sole provider, delivering care to patients of all ages and managing a variable patient volume, with an average of 20 per day.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Serve as the sole provider at the clinic during scheduled shifts
  • Deliver urgent care services to a diverse patient population of all ages
  • Perform suturing and splinting as needed
  • Manage a variable daily caseload, averaging 20 patients per day (range: fewer than 10 to over 30)
  • Maintain accurate documentation using the Cerner EMR system
  • Ensure high standards of patient care and safety

Additional Information
  • Active WA license required
  • Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) and Urgent Care board certification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Must have a clean background
  • Recent or current experience in urgent care settings required
  • Ability to work independently and confidently as the only provider
  • Experience seeing 20+ patients per day in an urgent care setting required
