We are seeking a highly skilled Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Nov 3, 2025. This role involves a 40-hour work week, including some weekends and federal holidays, in a fast-paced urgent care setting that mirrors an emergency department environment, minus a crash cart. Facilities include CT, Ultrasound, and labs on-site.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive urgent care in a high-acuity environment
  • Treat a broad range of conditions from simple to complex urgent health issues
  • Perform diagnostics and treatments using on-site CT, Ultrasound, and laboratory tests
  • Manage care for patients of all ages, including newborns
  • Ensure adherence to national certification standards and maintain certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS (all AHA)

Additional Information
  • Required Board Certifications in Family Medicine
  • Must hold a current Physician Assistant license in CA
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Emergency Department required
  • Must be able to handle the full scope of urgent care duties effectively
