We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant specializing in Urgent Care for a 3-month locum tenens assignment through Barton Associates. This opportunity is located in California, starting on 12/01/2025. The ideal candidate will work 8-hour evening shifts, 7 days a week, in a hospital setting that combines ER and Urgent Care services (Rapid Care). The PA will be responsible for a wide range of duties including suturing, laceration repairs, treating sick visits, STDs, STIs, vaginal discharge, flu, cough, headaches, and fracture reductions. This role requires comfort with same-day/next-day appointments and walk-ins in a fast-paced environment. Epic EMR experience is preferred.
