We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 91-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Dec 1, 2025. This role features a mix of ER and urgent care shifts, including same-day and next-day appointments, with 8-hour shifts and variable start times.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage a mix of emergency room and urgent care (rapid care) cases
  • Conduct same-day and next-day appointments, as well as walk-in visits
  • Provide rapid assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a range of acute conditions
  • Deliver care to diverse patient populations, consistent with urgent care and ER protocols
  • Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and workflow management
  • Apply recent experience in both ER and urgent care settings to optimize patient outcomes
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Adhere to all relevant clinical and administrative policies

Additional Information
  • Must have active California PA license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Recent ER and urgent care experience is essential
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred
