We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 24-week locum tenens assignment in California starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity offers a focused two-day schedule: Fridays 8am-5pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm. Bilingual fluency in Spanish is required, and candidates must be paneled with CA Medical and ORP. Responsibilities and Duties
  • Deliver primary care services in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting
  • Provide care for rural health populations
  • Manage up to 3 or more patient complaints per visit
  • Apply knowledge of quality metrics and preventative care protocols
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and follow up as needed
  • Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients to ensure optimal care
