Job Description

We are actively seeking an Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 96-day assignment in Georgia, starting Mar 16, 2026. This role involves shifts from 8a-7p, focusing on comprehensive urgent care and family medicine cases, including treatment of minor injuries, infections, and common illnesses, with some occupational medicine.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive urgent care and family medicine services.
  • Manage a wide range of cases including scrapes, burns, and lacerations.
  • Treat common illnesses such as colds, coughs, flu, COVID-19 symptoms, strep throat, sinus infections, earaches, and allergies.
  • Address musculoskeletal issues like sprains, strains, minor fractures, and sports injuries.
  • Perform minor procedures including suturing, foreign body removal, and wound care.
  • Evaluate and treat skin rashes, insect bites, and minor infections.
  • Handle urinary tract infections (UTIs) and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
  • Assess and manage nausea, vomiting, and other digestive concerns.
  • Engage in occupational medicine as required.
