We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 70-day locum tenens assignment in Montana. This opportunity begins on Feb 2, 2026, with day shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will provide both family practice and urgent care services in an outpatient setting, with a strong background in tribal health.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive family medicine and urgent care services on an outpatient basis
  • Deliver preventive care, chronic disease management, and pediatric care
  • Offer reproductive health services
  • Address mental health and substance use treatment needs
  • Perform in-office procedures and manage urgent care cases
  • Care for a diverse patient population, including pediatric and adult patients
  • Utilize clinical skills in mental health, chronic pain, and chronic disease management

Additional Information
  • Must have 1-2 years of tribal health experience
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Must hold current Montana licensure
  • Board certifications required: Family Medicine, Urgent Care
  • Experience with primary and urgent care strongly preferred
