Responsibilities and Duties
Independently assess and manage urgent care cases in a high-volume setting
Collaborate with a medical assistant and front desk personnel to provide streamlined patient care
Perform and document comprehensive patient evaluations and treatments
Manage acute illnesses and minor injuries for a diverse patient population
Prescribe medications and manage refills in accordance with DEA regulations
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Additional Information
Must hold an active North Carolina license
Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications
Ability to work autonomously is essential; not accepting new graduates
DOT certification is a plus
