We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 39-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Jan 2, 2026, and offers a schedule of three 12-hour rotating shifts per week, primarily covering day shifts with occasional weekend coverage based on clinical needs.   • Provider Type Needed: Urgent Care Physician Assistant
  • Schedule: Rotating schedule, 36 hours per week (three 12-hour shifts). Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Not included in the regular weekend rotation but may occasionally work weekends based on clinical needs.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Deliver high-quality urgent care services as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Collaborate closely with 1 physician, 4 providers, and 10 nurses
  • Evaluate and treat patients presenting with a wide range of urgent care needs
  • Document all patient encounters accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant protocols and clinical standards

Additional Information
  • Recent urgent care experience required
  • North Carolina license required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
