Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Urgent Care Needed in NC

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Physician Assistant for an exciting 75-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Mar 11, 2026. This role involves autonomous practice within an urgent care model, handling 12-hour shifts on weekdays from 8 AM to 8 PM and weekends from 8 AM to 4 PM. The Physician Assistant will manage a high volume of 40+ patients daily, addressing urgent and acute care cases, including colds, coughs, flu, IND, suturing, lacerations, and interpreting EKGs and x-rays.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work autonomously within an urgent care setting.
• Manage 12-hour shifts seeing 40+ patients daily.
• Provide urgent care services including acute care, cold, cough, flu, IND, suturing, and lacerations.
• Primarily treat adult populations.
• Interpret EKGs and x-rays.
