Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment starting Apr 6, 2026, in North Carolina. This critical role involves working daily 8a-8p shifts at an urgent care center, providing comprehensive care to adult and pediatric patients. You will be responsible for a variety of procedures, including I&D, lac repair, and ear irrigation, managing up to 40 patients per day.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide urgent care services in an urgent care center setting.
  • Manage a diverse patient population, including adults and pediatric patients from 6 months and up.
  • Perform procedures such as I&D, lac repair, ear irrigation, and other minor interventions.
  • Handle up to 40 patients per day, depending on the site.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team including Center Managers, MAs, PSAs, Urgent Care Techs, and Supervising Physicians.


Additional Information

  • Board Certifications in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Urgent Care are required.
  • Experience with Epic EMR system.
