Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 1-day locum tenens assignment in New Jersey starting Oct 31, 2025. This opportunity offers an afternoon and evening shift from 4pm to 10pm and requires proficiency in urgent care procedures, including COVID care, suturing, and splinting. Providers must be prepared to see all patients who arrive before the clinic closes at 8pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Deliver urgent care services to patients presenting with a variety of conditions
  • Provide COVID-related care as needed
  • Perform suturing and splinting procedures
  • Evaluate and manage walk-in patients until all have been seen, regardless of time of arrival during open hours
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient encounters
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to provide efficient patient flow

Additional Information
  • Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in New Jersey
  • Board certification not required; BC or truly BE accepted
  • Prior experience in urgent care settings is required
