Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide urgent care services including sick visits and preventative care
• Administer various immunizations (childhood, seasonal flu, COVID, pneumonia, shingles)
• Perform laceration repairs and suturing as needed
• Assist with consultations for the practice
• Manage a daily patient load of approximately 20 patients
• Utilize Athenahealth software for patient records and treatment planning
• Collaborate with the main MD and staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety protocols
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in urgent care practices
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Oklahoma
• Experience in urgent care or similar fast-paced medical environment required
