Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Oregon. This opportunity begins Nov 10, 2025, and spans a 33-day contract with 12-hour day shifts, 10-12 shifts per month. The ideal candidate will have at least two recent years of urgent care experience, demonstrate confidence working independently, and be comfortable performing basic urgent care procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Serve as the sole provider in a busy urgent care setting
  • See 30-40 patients per day
  • Perform basic urgent care procedures competently
  • Float between sites as needed (within approximately 10-20 minutes apart)
  • Deliver high-quality, timely care for urgent medical needs
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation
  • Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards

Additional Information
  • Active Oregon license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Minimum of 2 recent years of urgent care experience as a Physician Assistant
  • Must be comfortable working 12-hour shifts and acting independently
