Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Oregon. This opportunity begins Nov 10, 2025, and spans 36 days, with 12-hour shifts scheduled Friday through Sunday. Candidates must have at least 2 recent years of urgent care experience, be able to work independently as the sole provider, and perform basic urgent care procedures. The role may require floating between locations within a short distance as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the sole provider during assigned shifts, managing all aspects of urgent care
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a variety of urgent care needs
  • Perform basic urgent care procedures as required
  • Manage a patient volume of 30-40 per day
  • Float between nearby locations as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant clinical protocols and guidelines

Additional Information

  • At least 2 recent years of urgent care experience required
  • Must hold a valid Oregon license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Must be comfortable with 12-hour shifts and independent decision-making
