We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Texas, starting Jan 9, 2026. The role requires flexibility for AM, PM, and extended shifts, including 8-hour and potential 15-hour schedules. The provider will be the sole practitioner on site and must be ready to handle all urgent care presentations independently.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Serve as the sole provider for all urgent care cases and procedures
  • Manage a full range of urgent care presentations without clinical training or onboarding
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, ensuring all charts are closed by end of shift
  • Deliver patient care autonomously and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information
  • Minimum of 2 years recent urgent care experience required
  • Must be licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Texas
  • Ability to work independently and confidently without clinical training provided
