We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in Texas. This opportunity begins on Feb 5, 2026, offering 8 and 12 hour shifts from Wednesday through Sunday, totaling 36-46 hours per week. The provider must be ready to manage all urgent care cases as the sole clinician and is expected to close charts by the end of each shift. This is a 3-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Independently manage a full spectrum of urgent care cases and procedures
  • Provide care as the sole provider in the clinic setting
  • Close all patient charts by the end of each shift
  • Deliver prompt and efficient evaluation and treatment for acute illnesses and injuries
  • Maintain compliance with clinical and operational protocols
  • Ensure continuity of care and appropriate follow-up as needed

Additional Information
  • Must have at least 2 years of recent urgent care experience
  • Must be licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Texas
  • No clinical training provided; provider must be able to start immediately with all urgent care responsibilities
