Locum Tenens Physician - Urgent Care Needed in NJ

Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician for a 2-day assignment in New Jersey, starting Apr 6, 2026. This role involves managing a high-volume urgent care clinic, providing care for various cases including COVID, and performing procedures such as suturing and splinting. Shifts run from 2:30 PM to 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with the expectation to see all patients before leaving for the day.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide urgent care services, including managing COVID cases.
• Perform procedures such as suturing and splinting.
• Operate as a sole provider in a high-volume urgent care setting, seeing 40-60 patients per shift.
• Manage patient flow effectively, ensuring all patients are seen before the end of the shift on weekdays and weekends.
