Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician for a 1-day locum tenens assignment in New Jersey starting Oct 31, 2025. This opportunity features sole provider coverage with shift hours ranging from 8 to 10 hours, including weekday and weekend shifts. Candidates must be licensed in New Jersey with an active DEA and CDS, have several years of urgent care experience, and possess proficiency in suturing and splinting. Epic EMR experience is required.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Serve as the sole provider in an urgent care setting
  • Evaluate and treat urgent care cases, including COVID-related illnesses
  • Perform suturing and splinting as needed
  • Manage patient flow to ensure all patients are seen before shift end
  • Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation

Additional Information
  • New Jersey medical license, active DEA, and CDS required
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced urgent care environment
