We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician for a locum tenens assignment in West Virginia starting Oct 6, 2025. This 80-day opportunity offers a rotating schedule of day shifts, including weekdays and some weekends. The physician will provide direct patient care in an urgent care setting, with Epic as the EMR platform.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am – 8 pm; Saturday and Sunday, 9 am – 6 pm; rotation is 2 on, 2 off (modifiable); one weekend per month

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide medical evaluation and treatment for urgent care cases
  • Manage a variety of acute illnesses and minor injuries
  • Document patient encounters and care plans in Epic EMR
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers and clinical staff
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and quality standards

Additional Information
  • Must be licensed to practice medicine in West Virginia
  • Board certification in Urgent Care required
  • Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR is beneficial
