We are seeking a Urologist for a 28-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois, starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity offers flexible 24-hour call coverage in 7-day stints, with dedicated OR blocks and clinic responsibilities. Ideal for experienced candidates comfortable with urological surgery and rapid response protocols.

  • Schedule: 24-hour call coverage from 7pm-7pm, 7-day stints (Monday pm to Monday pm), 2 weeks per month available, extremely flexible; 1-2 procedures on OR days, 2-3 OR days per week

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide 24-hour call coverage with a 15-minute response by phone and 60-minute response at bedside from hotel
  • Deliver urological consultation and surgical care, including dedicated OR blocks and clinic visits
  • Manage an average of 2-3 consults per day, including phone calls from the ER for potential office visits
  • Perform 1-2 surgical procedures on OR days
  • Participate in orientation as scheduled

Additional Information
  • Must hold active licensure in Illinois and Iowa
  • Board certification in Urological Surgery required
  • Prior experience with urology surgery essential
