Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Urologist for a locum tenens assignment in New York, beginning Jun 1, 2026. This 84-day assignment involves a 7 on, 7 off schedule, including clinic, OR procedures, rounding on Mondays, and providing night and weekend call coverage for an adult and geriatric patient population. The Physician will handle a mix of robotic, laparoscopic, and general urology cases.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide clinic services with night and weekend call, serving as first call.
  • Adhere to an alternating 7 on, 7 off schedule.
  • Perform OR procedures and conduct rounding on Mondays.
  • Conduct clinic duties Tuesday through Friday.
  • Be available for out of house call on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Oversee APPs while independently rounding on patients.
  • Treat adult and geriatric patient populations only, with no pediatric cases.
  • Perform robotic and laparoscopic surgeries.
  • Conduct procedures including Robotics cases, Cystoscopy, and Vasectomy.
  • Work shift hours from 8am to 4:30pm.
