Job Description

Our client in Illinois is seeking a skilled Vascular/Interventional Radiologist Physician to join their team for a 60-day assignment starting Jun 1, 2026. This full-time role involves a dynamic schedule including onsite weekday, weekend, and overnight diagnostic shifts, plus 24-hour interventional radiology call. The physician will perform a wide range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, supporting both inpatient and outpatient services with a focus on biopsies, drain placements, and vascular interventions.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform a wide range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for both inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Manage a diverse procedural mix including biopsies, drainage procedures, vascular access, GI, GU, and oncology-related interventions.
  • Conduct CT and ultrasound-guided biopsies (lung, thyroid, renal, liver, bone, lymph node, bone marrow).
  • Execute drain placements and management (abscess drains, chest tubes, drain exchanges).
  • Perform biliary procedures.
  • Conduct GI and GU procedures.
  • Execute vascular procedures and access.
  • Perform hemodialysis access procedures.
  • Conduct oncology-related interventional procedures.
  • Work closely with referring physicians, hospital teams, and procedural staff to deliver comprehensive IR services.
