Responsibilities and Duties
Suture removal
Diagnose and treat illnesses
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Intraoperative first assisting
Assist in surgery and removal of dialysis catheters
Write prescriptions
Coordination of care and rounding
Pre-operative physical exams
Additional Information
Active NY state license required at time of submission
NCCPA or ANCC/AANP certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certifications required
No new graduates; must have vascular and/or cardiac surgery experience and medical management experience
Self-Query NPDB report required within the month of submission
