Provider Type Needed: Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant
Schedule: 10-hour days (7am-5pm), rotating weeknight and weekend call, including 24-hour beeper call on select dates
Responsibilities and Duties
First assist in vascular surgery cases (2-6 surgeries per day)
Perform vascular procedures as assigned
Complete discharge orders and round on inpatients (10-20 patients daily)
Float between operating room and patient floors as needed
Participate in weeknight and weekend call rotation (1:4)
Round with vascular surgeon on Saturday and Sunday mornings during weekend call
Collaborate within a team of four vascular surgery physician assistants
Additional Information
Minimum 2 years of first assist experience in vascular surgery required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Board certification in Vascular Surgery or Cardiothoracic Surgery required
Strongly prefer candidates with Trauma 1 experience
Must possess or be eligible for Ohio licensure
