 Barton Associates is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Women and Adolescent Health for a locum tenens position at a multi-specialty clinic in California. This 120-day assignment begins on 07/07/2025, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The role focuses on low to moderate risk prenatal care in an outpatient setting, with no deliveries or on-call requirements. Responsibilities include first-trimester ultrasound dating, basic gynecological care such as birth control consultations, Nexplanon/IUD placements and removals, well visits, and cervical/breast cancer screenings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across two clinic sites, providing support to the outpatient OB clinic. This opportunity requires a current California NP license and proficiency with Epic OCHIN EHR system.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide low to moderate risk prenatal care in an outpatient setting

• Perform first-trimester ultrasound dating

• Conduct basic gynecological procedures and consultations

• Place and remove Nexplanon implants and IUDs

• Perform well visits with cervical and breast cancer screenings

• Offer birth control counseling and management

• Utilize Epic OCHIN EHR for patient documentation and management

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a multi-specialty environment

• Provide support to the outpatient OB clinic across two sites

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction

• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures

Additional Information:

• Must possess an active California Nurse Practitioner license

• Experience with Epic OCHIN EHR preferred

• Strong background in women's health and prenatal care required

• Comfort with basic gynecological procedures and ultrasound

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
