We are seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife specializing in Women and Adolescent Health for a 70-day locum tenens outpatient assignment in California. This opportunity starts Feb 2, 2026, and offers a Monday through Friday, 8a-5p schedule with no delivery responsibilities. The role focuses on providing prenatal, postnatal, and newborn care in an outpatient clinic setting, requiring proficiency in dating ultrasounds and experience with newborns under 28 days old.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Deliver outpatient-only obstetric and routine gynecologic care
• Provide prenatal, postnatal, and newborn care for infants under 28 days old
• Perform dating ultrasounds
• Conduct physical exams, routine screenings, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic results
• Collaborate with physicians, other CNMs, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure patient-centered care

Additional Information

• Required certifications: Certified Nurse Midwife, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• 5–10 years of full-scope CNM experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR and high-risk obstetrics is preferred
