Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver advanced wound care treatment for wounds unresponsive to conservative management for 30+ days
- Use amniotic membrane grafts as the primary treatment modality
- Perform initial assessments, place orders for synthetic skin or skin grafts, debride, and rewrap wounds
- Operate independently in the patient's home, following established care plans
- Consult remotely with an MD during patient visits to address clinical concerns
- Document all patient encounters and treatment plans using Athenahealth EMR
