Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Wound Care Needed in AZ

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment in Arizona, starting Feb 5, 2026. This role offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to manage your hours while ensuring all scheduled patients are seen daily. You will be responsible for assessing and treating wounds, providing patient education on self-care, and prescribing necessary medications.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Strict charting rules must be completed within 48 hours.
• Engage positively and professionally with patients.
• See all patients scheduled each day.
• Provide patients with information and tips on self-care for their wounds until the next follow-up.
• Prescribe medication when needed.
• Manage a variety of cases including initial assessments, ulcers, diabetic wounds, superficial wounds, burns, and surgical wounds.
• Opportunity for training in debridement or skin grafting.

Additional Information

• Schedule is flexible with no set shift hours; requires finishing the daily patient list and logging hours.
