We are seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois, starting Nov 10, 2025. Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Perform wound care procedures such as debridement, advanced dressing applications, negative pressure wound therapy, and MIST therapy
  • Document all care accurately and completely in the electronic medical record system in accordance with Medicare and company requirements
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on wound care management, prevention, and follow-up care
  • Collaborate with physicians, facility staff, and care teams to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, including Medicare documentation and billing standards
  • Participate in periodic training, audits, and quality assurance reviews

Additional Information
  • Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Illinois
  • Wound Care Certification required
