We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This role begins on Oct 6, 2025, with a flexible schedule of one day per week for approximately 8 weeks. The assignment involves providing advanced wound care in patients' homes, ideal for candidates confident in operating independently and following established care plans.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide advanced wound care treatment for wounds not healed under conservative care for over 30 days
• Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Apply amniotic membrane grafts as the primary treatment modality
• Utilize amniography in wound management
• Place orders for synthetic skin or skin grafts as clinically indicated
• Perform debridement and rewrapping of wounds
• Travel to patients' homes for one-on-one care visits
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation

Additional Information

• Active Indiana nurse practitioner license required
• Board certification in Wound Care required
• Advanced wound care experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and confidently in home-based care settings
