Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This opportunity begins on Oct 6, 2025, for an 8-week contract with a flexible schedule of one patient visit per week, each approximately one hour. The ideal candidate will have advanced wound care expertise and confidence in operating independently within patient homes.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide advanced wound care to patients whose wounds have not healed under conservative treatment for over 30 days
  • Conduct initial assessments, order synthetic skin or skin grafts, debride and rewrap wounds as required
  • Utilize amniotic membrane grafts and amniography as primary treatment modalities
  • Follow established care plans and operate independently in patient home settings
  • Document and monitor patient progress over the course of care

Additional Information
  • Indiana state license required
  • Board certification in Wound Care required
