Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for a 6-week locum tenens assignment in Indiana. Starting Oct 13, 2025, this flexible opportunity involves solo advanced wound care in patient homes, with visits one to two times per week. Candidates should be confident providing care independently and skilled in advanced wound management.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide advanced wound care treatment to patients in their homes
  • Utilize amniotic membrane grafts as primary treatment modality
  • Perform initial assessments, place orders for synthetic skin/skin grafts, debride wounds, and rewrap as needed
  • Manage wounds not healed after 30+ days of conservative treatment
  • Deliver care to one patient, with potential to expand as patient volume increases
  • Follow established care plans and operate independently

Additional Information
  • Valid Indiana Nurse Practitioner license required
  • Board certification in Wound Care required
  • Advanced wound care experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable working autonomously and following established care plans
