Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Indiana, starting Dec 22, 2025. This is a 1-week opportunity with a flexible weekday schedule, typically one to two patient visits per week. The provider will operate independently, delivering advanced wound care in the patient's home environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide advanced wound care treatment to patients with wounds unhealed after 30+ days of conservative management
  • Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Utilize amniotic membrane grafts and amniography as primary treatment modalities
  • Order and apply synthetic skin/skin grafts as indicated
  • Perform wound debridement and rewrapping during each visit
  • Follow care plans and operate autonomously within the patient’s home

Additional Information
  • Indiana Nurse Practitioner license required
  • Wound Care board certification required
  • Advanced wound care experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable working independently in a home care setting
