Responsibilities and Duties
Provide advanced wound care to patients in both individual residences and long-term care facilities (approximately 90 percent LTC)
Utilize UltraMist Wands and perform skin grafts, including fish skin, placenta, and lab-grown grafts
Deliver direct hands-on wound care to a diverse patient population
Document patient encounters using the WoundExpert EMR system
Collaborate with surgical PAs and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Travel between assigned sites to deliver wound care services as needed
Additional Information
Must have current Nurse Practitioner license in Minnesota
Hands-on wound care experience is required
Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing (WOCN) certification required
Candidates with advanced wound care experience will be fast tracked
Experience with UltraMist Wands and various types of skin grafts is strongly preferred
