Responsibilities and Duties
Travel to long-term care facilities and patient residences to deliver hands-on wound care (approximately 90 percent in LTC settings)
Utilize advanced wound care techniques, including UltraMist Wands and application of skin grafts (fish skin, placenta, lab-grown)
Manage wound, ostomy, and continence care for complex cases
Document patient care and outcomes using the WoundExpert EMR system
Collaborate with facility staff to ensure continuity and quality of wound care
Adapt care plans to meet individual patient needs and facility protocols
Additional Information
Must have current Nurse Practitioner license in Minnesota
Required certification: Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing (WOCN)
Demonstrated hands-on wound care experience required
Experience with surgical PAs, wound care, and podiatry highly preferred
Candidates with advanced wound care experience will be fast tracked
Familiarity with UltraMist Wands and various skin graft materials is essential
