Responsibilities and Duties
Provide acute and rehabilitative care for patients with disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems
Deliver direct care to patients with stomas, wounds, fistulas, drains, pressure ulcers, tubes, and incontinence
Serve as an educator, consultant, and researcher for wound care practices
Guide optimal patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Care for patients with complex and intractable wounds resulting from various causes
Support outreach, psychological, and spiritual services for patients and families
Additional Information
Must have a minimum of two years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
Required board certification: Wound Care
Must hold a current DEA certification
Experience with inpatient wound care or long-term acute care required
