Job Description

We are seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for a 40-day locum tenens assignment in Tennessee. This mobile wound care opportunity begins on Sep 29, 2025, with flexible scheduling options for day shifts, Monday through Friday, and no weekends required. The provider will travel between patients to assess, debride, and dress various types of wounds.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide mobile wound care services to patients in their homes
  • Perform debridement and dressing of arterial ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, and diabetic foot ulcers
  • Conduct comprehensive wound assessments lasting 30 minutes to 1 hour per patient
  • Travel between patient locations, typically 15 to 30 minutes apart
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Additional Information
  • Home-based wound care experience required
  • Must hold an active Tennessee Nurse Practitioner license
  • No required board certifications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills needed
