Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This opportunity begins on Oct 6, 2025, and spans 8 weeks, with a flexible schedule of 1 hour per week. The provider will deliver advanced wound care for patients in their homes, operating independently and utilizing amniotic membrane grafts as the primary treatment approach. Preference is given to candidates with advanced wound experience who are confident in solo practice and following established care plans.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform initial wound assessments in patient homes
  • Order and apply amniotic membrane and synthetic skin grafts as primary treatments
  • Conduct debridement and rewrapping of chronic wounds unresponsive to conservative treatment for over 30 days
  • Implement advanced wound care protocols and monitor healing progress
  • Operate independently while adhering to established care plans
  • Provide ongoing wound management for patients, currently once or twice weekly

Additional Information
  • Indiana state license required
  • Board certification in Wound Care required
