We are seeking a skilled CRNA for a 90-day locum tenens position at a hospital in California. The assignment begins on 07/07/2025, with a flexible schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, with no weekend work required. The CRNA will be responsible for providing anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures, including general surgery, vascular, gynecology, orthopedics, urology, head and neck, ophthalmology, robotic surgery, and thoracic procedures. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with pediatric patients and will be supervised by an Anesthesiologist in a 1:3 ratio.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide anesthesia care for a diverse range of surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop appropriate anesthesia plans
• Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
• Manage patient recovery in the post-anesthesia care unit
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Epic EMR system
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
Additional Information:
• Comfortable with pediatric patients
• Experience in spinal anesthesia for orthopedic procedures
• Proficiency in double-lumen ETT for thoracic procedures
• Ability to handle approximately 5 cases per shift/day
• California state license required
• Possibility of assignment extension
