 We are seeking a skilled Cardiologist for a locum tenens assignment through Barton Associates. This opportunity is located in New York and requires coverage for 60 days, starting 06/09/2025. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, primarily from 8am to 5pm, with some flexibility in hours. The role involves managing a variety of cardiac cases in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU), focusing on both acute and general cardiology. Responsibilities include caring for patients with acute myocardial infarction, unstable angina, heart failure exacerbations, and arrhythmias. This is an inpatient-only position with no outpatient duties.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage patients in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU)

• Provide comprehensive care for acute cardiac conditions

• Treat patients with acute myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and heart failure exacerbations

• Manage complex arrhythmias

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care

• Utilize Meditech EHR for patient management

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Adhere to all hospital protocols and safety standards

• Participate in patient and family education

• Adapt to varying weekly schedules (30-40 hours/week)

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice in New York

• Experience in CCU and acute cardiology settings is required

• Proficiency in Meditech EHR is beneficial
