 We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for a locum tenens position at a dental clinic on a military base in California. This 12-day assignment offers a Wednesday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, starting on date 05/01/2025. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a full scope of general dentistry procedures, including new patient exams, extractions (including surgical), fillings, crown and bridge work, root canals, implant restoration, emergency care, endodontics, oral surgery, and non-surgical periodontics. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute their expertise in a dynamic military dental clinic setting.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform comprehensive general dentistry procedures

• Conduct new patient examinations and develop treatment plans

• Carry out extractions, including surgical extractions

• Perform fillings, crown and bridge work

• Execute root canal treatments and other endodontic procedures

• Provide implant restoration services

• Handle emergency dental care

• Conduct oral surgery procedures as needed

• Offer non-surgical periodontic treatments

• Maintain accurate and detailed dental records using Denticon software

• Collaborate with dental team members to ensure optimal patient care

• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures

• Stay current with advancements in general dentistry practices and technologies
