 We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for a locum tenens position at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in California. This 96-day assignment offers a Monday to Thursday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, starting on date 05/19/2025. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a range of dental procedures including crown preparations, bridges, dentures and partials, fillings, exams, and sealants for adult patients. The dentist should be capable of efficiently managing 3 chairs, each with a dental assistant, while working alongside a hygienist who covers 2 chairs. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute their expertise in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform crown preparations and bridge work

• Provide denture and partial denture services

• Conduct dental examinations and treatment planning

• Carry out dental fillings and sealant applications

• Manage and coordinate care across 3 dental chairs simultaneously

• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienist to ensure efficient patient flow

• Maintain accurate and detailed dental records using Epic and EpicWisdom software

• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures

• Stay current with advancements in general dentistry practices and technologies

• Provide patient education on oral health and preventive care

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the multi-specialty setting as needed

Additional Information:

• California state dental license required

• Experience with Epic and EpicWisdom software is beneficial
