Job Description
We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for an 80-day locum tenens assignment at a multi-specialty clinic in California, starting 05/27/2025. This opportunity requires coverage Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a wide range of general dentistry procedures, including fillings, crown and bridge work, hygiene checks, root canals, extractions, and pediatric dentistry. The dentist will be working as the sole provider, seeing 10-12 patients daily, and is expected to work efficiently with timely charging and collaborate effectively with support staff.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and develop treatment plans
• Conduct hygiene checks and provide patient education on oral health
• Carry out a full range of general dentistry procedures, including fillings and crowns
• Perform root canal treatments and extractions as needed
• Provide pediatric dental care
• Manage a patient load of 10-12 patients per day
• Ensure timely and accurate charging for services rendered
• Utilize eClinicalWorks electronic health record system
• Collaborate effectively with dental assistants and support staff
• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures
• Maintain high standards of patient care and professional conduct
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members
• Stay updated on the latest dental techniques and best practices
