Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Dentist for an engaging 108-day assignment in Illinois, starting Apr 28, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive general dentistry services, including exams, hygiene, fillings, crown and bridge work, extractions, and prosthodontics, with some pediatric cases. The schedule is Monday 8 AM-6 PM, Tuesday through Thursday 8 AM-5 PM, and Friday 8 AM-2 PM, focusing on a mix of treatment and periodic hygiene exams.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage a normal daily patient volume for treatment of 8 to 15 cases.
- Conduct periodic exams associated with hygiene for 20-35 patients per day.
- Provide comprehensive general dentistry services, including exams, hygiene, fillings, crown and bridge work, simple extractions, and operative removable and fixed prosthodontics.
- Address pediatric cases, which constitute less than 20% of exams and less than 10% of treatments.
- Prescribe antibiotics for infection or premedication as needed.
- Refer out most oral surgery, all endo, and perio cases.
- Restore implants; no implant placement required.
