Barton Associates is seeking a General Dentist for a locum tenens position in Indiana. This 60-day assignment begins on 07/07/2025, with a potential for extension. The provider will work full-time with varying schedules: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and Tuesday and Thursday from 10 AM to 7 PM. The dentist will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care, including general dentistry procedures, crowns, extractions, fillings, bonding, and handling dental emergencies. Key duties include oral examinations, diagnosis and treatment of oral conditions, patient education, continuity of care management, and collaboration with the dental team.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform general dentistry procedures, including crowns, extractions, fillings, and bonding
• Conduct oral examinations and assessments
• Diagnose and treat mouth and teeth conditions
• Handle dental emergencies as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and home treatment
• Manage continuity of care
• Collaborate with the dental team
• Review X-rays and patient charts
• Refer patients for oral surgery when necessary

• Indiana state dental license required
• Familiarity with ECW (eClinicalWorks) electronic health record system preferred
