 We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for a locum tenens position at a Dental Clinic in Virginia. This 20-day assignment offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with Fridays potentially being half-days for longer cases. Starting on date 06/02/2025, the ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a range of dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, and dentures, as well as overseeing hygiene work. The practice is equipped with a 3D scanner and technical support. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute their expertise in a private practice setting.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and treatments

• Oversee and check hygiene work

• Conduct dental cleanings

• Perform dental fillings

• Provide denture services

• Utilize 3D scanner technology with assistance from on-site technician

• Maintain accurate and detailed dental records using Partison Eagle software

• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient care

• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures

• Stay current with advancements in general dentistry practices and technologies

• Manage patient flow, typically seeing 3-4 patients on Fridays for longer cases

• Provide referrals for implants, extractions, and root canals as needed

Additional Information:
