Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages
• Manage chronic conditions for an older patient population
• Handle urgent care and emergency cases as the sole provider on the island
• Treat pediatric patients (approximately 4-8 patients per day)
• Conduct patient examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Adapt to limited resources and be prepared for a wide range of medical scenarios
• Respond to after-hours emergencies (compensated at time and a half)
