We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a 20-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Nov 17, 2025. This role offers a Monday-Thursday schedule with day shifts and one rotating evening per week. Responsibilities and Duties
- Assess and diagnose patients with multiple comorbidities
- Conduct wellness exams and routine check-ups
- Deliver direct patient care and minimize unnecessary referrals
- Collaborate with an integrated care team
- Provide education on disease management and prevention
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
Additional Information
- Minimum 5 years of experience in family practice or internal medicine required
- Must have FQHC or IHS experience
- Experience with EPIC EMR required
- Must be licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner in California
- Must hold board certification in Internal Medicine and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Candidates should indicate Medicare/Medicaid enrollment status in California
