We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a 20-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Nov 17, 2025. This role offers a Monday-Thursday schedule with day shifts and one rotating evening per week. The position requires strong clinical skills in family practice or internal medicine within an integrated care team environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assess and diagnose patients with multiple comorbidities
  • Conduct wellness exams and routine check-ups
  • Deliver direct patient care and minimize unnecessary referrals
  • Collaborate with an integrated care team
  • Provide education on disease management and prevention
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management

Additional Information
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in family practice or internal medicine required
  • Must have FQHC or IHS experience
  • Experience with EPIC EMR required
  • Must be licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner in California
  • Must hold board certification in Internal Medicine and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
  • Candidates should indicate Medicare/Medicaid enrollment status in California
