We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 22-day locum tenens assignment at an outpatient clinic in California, starting Dec 8, 2025. This role offers three 8-hour day shifts per week, typically on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, providing primary care to patients of all ages in a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Deliver primary care services to patients of all ages in an intergenerational clinic setting
  • Manage 20-25 patient cases per eight-hour shift
  • Practice autonomously and adapt quickly to a new charting system
  • Provide coverage and support during the holiday period as needed
  • Utilize Athenahealth EMR for patient documentation
  • Oversee patient care within Family Practice scope

Additional Information
  • Active California license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an FQHC setting as a nurse practitioner
  • Experience with Athenahealth EMR preferred
  • Ability to adapt to new systems within one week
